Then we going to meet at plaza singapura secret recipe for dinner at around 6.30pm.
We have a special guest appearance, who will crash dinner with us also. You are all gonna love him. trust me.

well, i think we can be 'blogger journalists'. to cover important events etc etc. need not be for only sff, can be for all concerts etc etc. then for every event, a few blogger journalists will have to cover the events.
of course this has to be pitched to the respective event organisers etc etc. how would this work? our own ppl pitch this on our own? but of course we would have to promise them coverage, number of views etc
I think Nadia's idea is great!!! Its a very attractive idea.
We can actually attract members into SPI too (isnt that the main idea - to expand!).

By the way, anyone wanna head over to Minds Cafe which is really near plaza sing? Just a short walk less than 5 mins. Its an uber fun place where you can get crazy and scream and play all sorts of board games, card games, with lots of hilarious forfeits etc etc =D
Actually secret recipe isnt all about cakes and desserts! they have a really good lamb stew (my fav. dish there) a range of pastas like lasagne etc, and they have tom yum noodles, rice, chicken and fries and stuff =D

aside from being 'blogger journalists' where we can cover events, launches etc, how about having a bloggers e-magazine?
where we can submit info into the e-magazines and advertisers can choose to advertise there (aside from nuffnang of course), ming can use the e-magazine as an add on when pitching sales to advertisers.
we can have columns on life, relationships, food, music etc and features etc.
here's just some ideas i tot of. heh.

As for the dine out place, secret recipe is cool, I think I still have a discount card somewhere in my old suitcase, if you guys are going to pay the bill b4 I come... hehehe
maybe can have a group of peeps doing fashion, some do food etc etc.

tink we shld have a clear vision for spi first before we plunge into it so we have smtg unique, powerful and sustainable.
the idea started off with the intention to 'revolutionise' the social networks model - to create a social playground where there is fun, fun and more fun~ scandals is one theme and so are parties, alcohol, adventure, dance and the list goes on...
so perhaps we can have fun ics - if the whole objective of spi is to create fun and abolish the 'boring and ''fine'' ' image of singaporeans~.. one brings the booze, one brings the babes, one brings the jokes and hopefully one brings the cash too~ =) then the blog can be structured among these 'elements of fun' and so can our gatherings, outings etc. we can have wild parties, quiet wine gatherings, sexy dance classes, exotic food outings, exciting overseas trips... the list goes on again.. the blog also needs some clear classifications of the stuff nad suggested.
many of the things seems resource intensive but if we align our pple with their fun interests then something cool can create and i guess, all of us will be keen to do our bit to make things happen, rt?

- i can meet anyone who's going but not sure how to go at Clementi MRT at about 615. I finish teaching at 530 at City Hall.
Nad proposed a very good idea with regards to blogger's coverage for events like SFF and concerts (like the very recent Maroon 5 in SG) and Backstreet in KL! If we're good we'll can get our Nuffnang MY to help us too!
It's a very good idea doncha think esp the e-mag! But we gotta start small first. Maybe we can all start by sending one article about a certain restaurant or smth. Then need an "editor" *cough* (president?) to choose and filter.
The writing definitely should be limited" to privileged SPI-ers. Ups the GLAM factor of SPI yah. Thus to negotiate such deals we need a MARKETING DIRECTOR/PR HEAD. Have you guys volunteered yourselves for the SPI comm yet?!

Nadia, great idea. Actually, you can create and edit the eMag right away using Comiqs. Multiple pages, images and text, and it's easily embeddable inside blogs! :)
